Access Solutions Ltd.
Bells Bridge, Glasgow.
A scaffold was required to provide access for blasting and painting works. Support ladder beams were fixed to the upper main steel beams then Cuplok system was dropped down either side of the bridge. Aluminium bridge beams were then installed between the suspended Cuplok to form a platform level below the bridge. Access to the main pylon was constructed from a Cuplok tower erected around the perimeter of the pylon and box tied at every lift. The both areas of scaffolding were fully sheeted with shrink wrap type sheeting for form the sealed environment required for blasting and painting works.
