Copies of all our insurance certificates are available upon request. Our Professional Indemnity Insurance covers all our design work worldwide but excluding the USA and Canada.
We have acted as expert witness in legal cases involving scaffolding collapse or miss-use in recent times. In addition we have been asked to provide technical reports to determine cause of failure and potential reasoning behind it. Scaftec have worked as technical advisors for the HSE on scaffold collapses.
None of these case have arose from designs Scaftec have worked on, and we have worked closely with companies to ensure they do not experience further collapses. We are happy to assist wherever we can, please do not hesitate to contact us.
