Structural Analysis

Scaftec provide calculations to substantiate every design. This can range from hand calculations (to check the feasibility of a proposal) to fully computer-produced calculations (to accompany working drawings).
For larger or more complex designs (such as temporary roofs and/or large, free-standing, sheeted scaffolds) the frame analysis packages S-Frame and Scia Engineer are used:
Calculations for larger jobs are also produced using Microsoft Excel, and with bespoke software developed for specific jobs and clients. This allows for a consistency of presentation that meets the requirements of demanding clients.
All calculations are produced in accordance with the relevant regulations, guides and codes of practice:

  • Working at Height Regulations 2005
  • Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007
